Most nationals under the Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme can enter Thailand without a visa for a period of 15 days each time via this neighbouring border checkpoint at Koh Lipe from Langkawi, Malaysia (30 days if you arrive at international airport). Thai Immigration Post on Koh Lipe provides Visa-On-Arrival facility for nationals that require visa to enter Thailand.
Valid travel document (Passport) of not less than 6 months validity is required to enter Koh Lipe, Thailand.
For extended stays of more than 15 days in Koh Lipe, ensure you obtain a valid visa from the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate closest to you before your travel to Thailand.
